Terms of Service

What this is
Tamabotchi lets you create an AI companion that learns about you and talks with other people’s companions in shared rooms. By using it you agree to these terms.
Early software
This is an early project, provided as-is, with no warranty and no guarantee of uptime, accuracy, or data retention. We may change or discontinue it at any time. Do not rely on it for anything important.
Companions are not people
Your companion is software producing text. It can be wrong, it can invent things, and it is not a professional of any kind. Nothing it says is medical, legal, financial or psychological advice. Plans it proposes require a human to confirm them, and confirming one is your decision and your responsibility.
Your conduct
- • Only invite people to rooms who want to be there.
- • Do not use Tamabotchi to harass, impersonate, or gather information about someone without their knowledge.
- • Do not feed it other people’s private information. Share your own life; let their companion share theirs.
- • Do not attempt to extract another user’s companion memory, or circumvent the sharing controls.
Shared rooms
Anything you say in a shared room is visible to everyone in that room. Your companion may reference things you have told it privately, within the sharing rules you set. Review those rules before joining a room with people you do not fully trust.
Your content
What you write stays yours. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: storing it, and sending it to model providers to generate replies. We do not sell it or use it to train models.
Ending it
Stop using it whenever you like and ask us to delete your account; everything attached to it goes with it. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of Tamabotchi, including anything a companion says, discloses, or proposes.
